Baggage Information
Cabin Baggage Allowance for Domestic & International is maximum 7 kg . (which would include Laptop and duty free shopping bags), having maximum over all dimensions of: 100 cms. to 110 cms. (L+W+H). Passengers with infants are allowed to carry an additional piece of hand baggage of maximum 7 kg.
Checked-in Baggage Allowance for domestic travel, 15 Kg (22 Kg in case passenger is travelling from Jammu or Srinagar) per passenger. In case of travel to abroad, free baggage allowance is 20 Kg and in case passenger is travelling to/from Colombo, Kabul, Dubai, Muscat Free baggage allowance will be 30 kg) is allowed. Allowance might differ as per airlines.
Airport Check-in
Check-in counter for Domestic flights opens 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Flyers are advised to report at the Airport between 1 to 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Check-in counters for domestic flights close 45 (60 minutes for Domestic leg of International flight) minutes prior to departure. International Airport check-in counters opens 3 hours prior to the scheduled fligth departure time. Check-in counters for all flights close 60 to 75 minuts prior to departure. Failure to do so can result in your booking being cancelled and the fare retained. ( Please reverify the check in rule with airline for haslle free travel)
Traveling with Kids
When travelling with infants or children it will be allowed to transport a baby stroller/basket and a baby chair as checked baggage. Special seats and meals for babies can be requested when making a booking.
Special Assistance
Passengers can avail special assistance from airline Irrespective of their medical or physical condition. Incapacitated Passengers are categorized into various groups. These Passenger groups are identified in airline messages by AIRIMP Codes, such as:
