Package Itinerary for South India Tour
Day 1 – Arrive Madurai – south india
On arrival in Madurai, check-into the hotel and relax. Overnight at Madhurai – south india.
Day 2 – Madurai Sightseeing – south india
This day, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Madurai covering places such as Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Temple, art museum, Puthu Mandapam, and Raya Gopuram etc. Return to the hotel after the tour and have a comfortable overnight stay hotel at madurai, south india.
Day 3 – Madurai To Rameshwaram – south india
After breakfast, drive off to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and proceed for a local tour of the town. one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Legend says that Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands where Lord Rama performed worship of a Sand Lingam made by Sita. Other places of interest in Rameshwaram are Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi, Agnitheertham Gandamadana Parvatham etc. Stay overnight at your hotel in Rameshwaram.
Day 4 – Rameshwaram To Kanyakumari – south india
After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari. The Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal merge at Kanyakumari. It is an important pilgrimage center for Hindus. Upon arrival in Kanyakumari, check-in at the hotel and proceed on a visit to Vevakananda Rock, Gandhi Museum and Kumari Amman Temple. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel
Day 5 – Kanyakumari To Kovalam – south india
After enjoying breakfast, drive to Kovalam. Once you arrive at Kovalam, check-in to hotel and tame some rest, later head out to the nearby market and shop for knick-knacks and some gift item. You may also spend the night partaking in Ayurveda Spa. Once that is done head back to the hotel for a good sleep.
Day 6 –Kovalam – south india
This day after breakfast appreciate an episode of touring over the excellent city of Kovalam. Today, You will visit some of the most popular sightseeing destinations such as Lighthouse Beach and Hawaa Beach. The shorelines of Kovalam are dieal for long strolls and photographs.
Visit the adjacent market for some amazing street-side shopping on this day on your visit. Once sightseeing is over, head back to the hotel for rest and relaxation. Overnight stay at Kovlam.
Day 7 – Kovalam To Alleppey – south india
After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and proceed to Alappuzha which has an immense natural beauty, also known as the Venice of the East. It is famous for the back waters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products. Check in to the Hotel enjoy the lagoon on Shikara Boat( direct pay by guest), enjoy the beach, coir factory visit. Overnight stay at the Hotel. (You may also choose houseboat for Alleppey Stay)
Day 8 – Alleppey To Thekkady – south india
After breakfast check out from the hotel / resort and proceed to Thekkady. Check into the hotel / resort. Thekkady is Indias largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting Kerala. Spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations. Have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. You will have chance to watch the wild animals like Elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc. are roaming both shore. Evening visit the local spice market for garden fresh spices. Overnight at Thekkady.
Day 9 –Thekkady To Munnar – south india
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Munnar. we will take you to the flower garden where you can witness a myriad of exotic and beautiful flowers. Then you will have one of the most exciting things to do in Munnar—an elephant safari. Riding on the back of a tusker will leave you gasping for breath. Later back to hotel.
Day 10 – Munnar – Cochin – south india
This morning after breakfast, visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundala dam, Eco point, another serene and tranquil spot. This is a must visit place for someone who wants a moment to admire the scenes around and wants to have some fun along the way, echoing his or her voice. Then visit the Tea Museum. Further proceed to Cochin, at evening visit Cochin market. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 11 – Cochin Airport Drop
After your breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Cochin airport/ Railway station to board a flight / Train for your onward destination.
